: In a major step towards realising the country’s first defence industrial park at Ottappalam, near here, the Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (Kinfra) has decided to tie up with global consulting firm Frost and Sullivan (F&S). The consulting firm will conduct a feasibility study apart from providing an authentic picture of demand in the global market for defence-related equipment.
The first report would be submitted in a period of one month. The Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (Kinfra) is the nodal agency of the park visualised under the Make In India campaign of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Though consultant firms Ernst & Young (E&Y) and DipoyIT had also evinced interest in conducting the study, F&S was chosen for the work.
