Illinois based-Sonoma Consulting Inc., an IT consulting and executive search firm, acquired StrategyHire, a technology recruiting and solutions provider based in Tyson’s Corner, Va. 

“StrategyHire adds to our already-strong US presence and will round out the East Coast by bringing over 50 clients to Sonoma Consulting,” said Sonoma Consulting President Mark McGee. “This organization we were able to acquire takes us to the next level in servicing our US clients and adding incredible talent to the team for our consultants and customers alike.”

McGee launched Sonoma Consulting in 2011 and opened its Sonoma Offshore Development Center earlier this year. Sonoma Consulting has two business divisions and four offices — Naperville and Chicago Ill.; Hyderabad, India; and now Tyson’s Corner, Va. It serves 150 national clients.
